Enrollment Process

Start with a discovery call, complete a literacy assessment, and receive a placement recommendation for the program option that best fits your learner.

The Process

01

Schedule a Discovery Call

Book a discovery call to discuss your child’s reading, spelling, writing, and learning needs. This call helps us understand your goals and determine whether OG Edge may be a good fit before moving forward with the literacy assessment.

02

Complete the Literacy Assessment

Your child completes a literacy assessment to help identify current strengths, instructional needs, and the type of support that may be most appropriate.

03

Review the Placement Recommendation

After the discovery call and assessment, families receive a placement recommendation for the program option that best fits the learner’s needs, readiness, and schedule availability.

04

Complete Enrollment and Begin Instruction

Once placement is confirmed, families complete the enrollment packet, submit required fees, and receive next steps for starting instruction.

Required enrollment documents

To complete enrollment, families are asked to submit the OG Edge Literacy Lab enrollment packet before the first scheduled session. The packet helps us collect important student and family information, understand your child’s literacy needs, review program placement, and confirm required policies and consent.

Optional Supporting Documents

A psychological evaluation, IEP, or 504 Plan is not required for enrollment. If available, families may choose to share these documents to help us better understand the learner’s needs and previous recommendations.

The current enrollment packet includes:
