Literacy Programs at OG Edge
Elite Edge Homeschool Pod
Elite Edge is our primary program and provides center-based, small-group Orton-Gillingham based structured literacy instruction for homeschool learners in grades 3–4. Students meet in a group of 4–6 learners, 3 days per week, for 75-minute sessions. This option is best for homeschool learners who are ready for small-group instruction and consistent literacy practice with peers.
Core Edge 1:1 Literacy Support
Core Edge provides 1:1 Orton-Gillingham based instruction for students who need focused support with foundational reading and spelling skills. Instruction may include decoding, encoding, fluency, grammar, and phonemic awareness when needed. This option is available for homeschool and non-homeschool students when scheduling allows.
Advanced Edge 1:1 Literacy Support
Advanced Edge provides 1:1 Orton-Gillingham based instruction for students who need help strengthening comprehension, vocabulary, fluency, written expression, and higher-level literacy skills. This option is designed for learners who already have basic reading skills but need more targeted support with understanding, language, and writing.
Elite Edge Homeschool Pod
A Small-Group Literacy Pod Built for Homeschool Learners
Elite Edge Foundations is a small-group homeschool literacy pod for learners building stronger reading, spelling, grammar, and writing skills. Designed for families in Macon, Warner Robins, and surrounding Middle Georgia communities, the pod provides intentional Orton-Gillingham based instruction in a clear, supportive setting.
Students strengthen foundational ELA skills while practicing routines that support fluency, comprehension, vocabulary, and written expression.
Who the Pod Best Serves
Homeschool learners in grades 3–4 who are ready for structured small-group instruction.
Class Structure
Students meet in a small group of 4–6 learners, 3 days per week, for 75-minute literacy sessions.
Tuition
$350/month with semester-based enrollment.
Pod or 1:1 Literacy Support?
Both options use Orton-Gillingham based instruction and structured literacy practices. The right fit depends on your child’s learning needs, readiness for group instruction, and whether a homeschool pod or individualized 1:1 setting is most appropriate.
Elite Edge Homeschool Pod
For homeschool learners in grades 3–4 who are ready for a structured small-group literacy class.
Students meet in a small group of 4–6 learners, 3 days per week, for 75-minute sessions.
This option is best for learners who are ready to join a small-group routine and benefit from instruction alongside peers.
1:1 Literacy Support
For homeschool or non-homeschool students who need a more individualized literacy support setting.
Students work 1:1 with the literacy interventionist, 2 or 3 days per week, with support focused on their reading, spelling, fluency, comprehension, or writing needs.
This option is best for learners who may benefit from direct instruction, a personalized pace, and literacy support tailored to their current reading, spelling, or writing needs.

OG Edge Literacy Lab
Schedule and Tuition
Elite Edge Homeschool Pod
This program is $350 per month and provides a center-based literacy pod for homeschool learners in grades 3–4, with Orton-Gillingham based support for reading, spelling, grammar, fluency, vocabulary, comprehension, and writing routines..
Core Edge 1:1
This program is $450 a month for 2x/week or $675 a month for 3x/week. This option provides focused support for reading, spelling, decoding, fluency, grammar, and foundational literacy skills.
Advance Edge 1:1
This program is $450 a month for 2x a week or $675/month for 3x a week. This option provides focused support for comprehension, vocabulary, fluency, written expression, and advanced literacy needs.
A $175 Enrollment & Assessment Fee is due before services begin. This includes a $100 registration fee and a $75 literacy assessment fee.
Enrollment Process
Start with a Discovery Call
Every family begins with a required discovery call. This gives us time to learn more about your child’s reading, spelling, writing, and literacy needs before recommending the best next step.
Discovery Call
We talk through your child’s current needs, learning history, and whether the homeschool pod or 1:1 literacy support may be the better fit.
Literacy Assessment
A literacy assessment helps identify your child’s current strengths, skill gaps, and instructional needs.
Placement Recommendation
Based on the discovery call and assessment, OG Edge recommends the most appropriate placement option.
Enrollment
Once placement is confirmed, families complete enrollment and prepare for services to begin.

At OG Edge Literacy Lab, families are essential partners in each learner’s literacy growth.
We provide Orton-Gillingham based literacy instruction for students in Macon, Warner Robins, and surrounding Middle Georgia communities who need support with reading, spelling, grammar, fluency, comprehension, and writing. Whether a learner is enrolled in the Elite Edge Homeschool Pod or receiving 1:1 literacy support, our goal is to help students build confidence, skill, and a stronger foundation for learning.
OG Edge welcomes homeschool learners, growing readers, and students with dyslexia, ADHD, autism, or reading and writing challenges. A diagnosis or IEP is not required.

At OG Edge Literacy Lab, instruction is currently led by Shecondria Duncan, Founder and Director of Instruction. She brings educator experience, Orton-Gillingham based training, and a family-centered approach to helping students strengthen reading, spelling, fluency, comprehension, grammar, and writing skills.
Whether students are enrolled in the Elite Edge Homeschool Pod or receiving 1:1 literacy support, instruction is guided by clear routines, structured literacy practices, and a supportive learning environment.
