About OG Edge Literacy Lab
Orton-Gillingham Based Literacy Support for Growing Readers and Writers
Orton-Gillingham Based Literacy Support in Middle Georgia
OG Edge Literacy Lab provides reading, spelling, grammar, fluency, comprehension, and writing support for families in Macon, Warner Robins, and surrounding Middle Georgia communities.
Our instruction is rooted in Orton-Gillingham based practices and designed to help students build stronger literacy skills with clarity, structure, and confidence.
OG Edge serves homeschool learners through the Elite Edge Homeschool Pod and offers limited 1:1 literacy support for homeschool and non-homeschool students when scheduling allows.
Founder & Director of Instruction
OG Edge Literacy Lab was founded by Shecondria Duncan to provide clear, supportive literacy instruction for students who need stronger reading, spelling, grammar, and writing skills.
As a former educator, literacy interventionist, and parent, Shecondria brings both professional experience and family-centered understanding to her work. Her instruction is guided by Orton-Gillingham based practices, structured literacy routines, and a belief that students grow best when they feel supported, capable, and understood.
Shecondria also founded NeuroStars Phonics Factory, a separate nonprofit organization. OG Edge Literacy Lab operates independently with its own programs, enrollment process, tuition, and services.
This is more than a mission — it’s a calling. Every child deserves the chance to unlock their potential and fall in love with reading.
