OG Edge Literacy Lab provides reading, spelling, grammar, fluency, comprehension, and writing support for families in Macon, Warner Robins, and surrounding Middle Georgia communities. Instruction is rooted in Orton-Gillingham based practices and designed to help students build stronger literacy skills with clarity, structure, and confidence.
Our services include the Elite Edge Homeschool Pod for homeschool learners and limited 1:1 literacy support for homeschool and non-homeschool students when scheduling allows.
Founder & Director of Instruction
As the Founder & Director of Instruction at OG Edge Literacy Lab, Shecondria Duncan created this center to provide neurodivergent students with the individualized, high-quality literacy support they deserve. As a former educator with specialized experience in literacy instruction and early intervention, and as a parent to a son with autism, she understands both the professional and personal need for compassionate, effective reading instruction for learners who think differently.
Driven by this journey, she also founded NeuroStars Phonics Factory, Inc., a separate nonprofit organization dedicated to expanding access to literacy services for families facing barriers. Each organization operates independently, offering families both private and nonprofit options to support their child’s reading success.
This is more than a mission — it’s a calling. Every child deserves the chance to unlock their potential and fall in love with reading.

At OG Edge Literacy Lab, your child’s instruction is personally led by our Founder & Director of Instruction, Shecondria Duncan, an educator with specialized training in the Orton-Gillingham method, literacy intervention, and early literacy support. With a background in helping neurodivergent learners succeed, Shecondria is dedicated to providing compassionate, expert guidance every step of the way. As we grow, every instructor will complete the same rigorous training to ensure every learner receives individualized, research-based instruction in a supportive environment.
